In my practice I target three key areas of overall wellness: Mind, Body, and Life. Each of these areas is so closely connected that if you are having difficulties in one area, there are most likely resulting problems in other areas. When we are mentally distressed our body responds by changing its chemical or hormonal balance, which may compromise our physical health. We may have challenges interacting with family, friends, and co-workers – resulting in problems in our general life. Having problems managing health can cause problems with our mood, sleep, family, and work, or having problems with family and work can result in mental distress and health problems. So you see, the Mind, Body, and Life are all connected, like a three-legged chair. If one leg is weak, the chair is off balance and unstable.
